Here is a directory of resources for parents who have a child with autism over 6 years of age.  Resources for parents who have a child with autism under the age of 6 are listed below where indicated.  Please know that this page is constantly being updated with information and we will continue to add more resources when information becomes available to us to help you!  If you notice a link on our website that is not working, please contact us and let us know.  We will fix it and replace it with another resource.  We also have information packages from many different organizations which will be indicated at the bottom of each section.  If you are interested in them please contact us and we will email them to you.

- The Child Development program provides assessments for children less than five years of age with a suspected developmental problem, such as autism, motor delays, or speech problems. It also provides limited speech and language therapy for children who have communication delays, as well as follow-up care for select infants following discharge from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

 

- Paediatric occupational therapy services are available to children up to the age of seven. Assessments are available for children over the age of seven. Service is offered to children with developmental delays, neurological dysfunction, sensorimotor difficulties, or children who are experiencing difficulties with their day-to-day activities.
