Seconds...
 
  • Congratulate yourself on doing something, even if it’s small
  • Savour the moment when something good happens
  • Give someone a compliment
  • Walk outside of your home and take 10 deep breaths and come back in
  • Stand up and stretch
  • Scent your environment with essential oils

Minutes...
 
  • Turn your phone off
  • Have 5 minutes of silence
  • Write down 5 things you are thankful for
  • Have a cup of tea/coffee/hot chocolate
  • Do a quick meditation or prayer
  • Put some music on
  • Call or text someone you love and have a conversation
  • Do an intense work out for 15 min
  • Take a hot shower
